Calling All Knitters!

7th June 2019: A big thank you to all who donated flowers. We now have enough!

Following the marvellous response for knitted poppies last year, we have a Flower Festival coming up in July. We would like to continue the theme and knit flowers of any size, colour and shape to decorate Tidenham Church for the Flower Festival, as it looked so effective last year.

The choice as to how you make them, is entirely yours - the only thing we would ask is that you leave at least 10 inches of wool or florist wire so that they can be attached to the netting easily. Use any pattern you like or the poppy pattern would be nice, perhaps not red a different colour! There are quite a lot of free patterns online too. Big and bright will be really good. Please leave your flowers in church porches.
